- Canon Live Learning
Shoot like an artist in beautiful, historic, Charleston.
Join Parish Kohanim, commercial and fine art photographer, and winner of numerous prestigious national and international awards, for this one-of a kind workshop. He will teach you new ways of getting the best shots with simplified, professional techniques that will elevate the level of your photography.
Parish will share his vast knowledge, which he has learned through three decades as a professional photographer and 20 years as a Canon “Explorer of Light”. He will push you to take shots beyond your usual comfort zone.
What location could be more ideal than Charleston to explore a vast array of great photographic opportunities? Capture the most unique and memorable photos in this history-rich, Southern gem city. Pose models in view of Fort Sumter, where the first shot of the Civil War was fired. Optimize your lighting, posing skills in the centuries-old antebellum estates with models that you will have the opportunity to personally direct and photograph, using Charleston’s, spectacular backgrounds of cobblestone streets, magnificent parks and majestic oaks. Parish will show you powerful techniques of working with models to get the most natural and spontaneous poses while delving into aspects of proper lighting and composition. He will demystify and shed new light on how to use your DSLR and lighting equipment without any intimidation, and be comfortable using it.
Limited to only 16 participants this will be a truly one-on-one experience either with Parish or the knowledgeable Canon technical gurus. The workshop will conclude with a day of learning simple, effective and powerful techniques to make your shots extraordinary in post production. You will go home with a collection of photos you will be proud to share with family and friends, build your professional portfolio and treasure for years to come.
