For the past 25 years, photographer Ralph Lee Hopkins has been traveling to the world’s wild places with Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic. As the Director of Expedition Photography, he as been leading photo expeditions on board the National Geographic fleet, leading expeditions from the Arctic to the Antarctic and points in between.
Ralph’s images from some of the world’s most pristine and fragile ecosystems help change the way we see our world, putting a spotlight on the crucial areas in need of protection.
In this exhibit, images from recent expeditions on the National Geographic Explorer document a rapidly changing world of thinning ice, receding glaciers, and wildlife facing the very real challenges of climate change.
There is new era of exploration underway where adventurous travelers can join expeditions to the ends of the earth. And advances in Canon digital cameras enable photographers to tell the story of their travels and experiences like never before.
