The EOS C700 FF camera offers an incredible range of shooting options, image formats and system expandability – totally optimized for top-end cinema production. In a major new development this flagship Cinema EOS model features a full-frame 5.9K 20.8MP CMOS sensor developed by Canon. The C700 FF supports readout with 3 different Sensor Modes -- Full Frame, Super 35mm (Cropped), and Super 16mm (Cropped), and employs Over Sampling 4K processing for sharp image detail. It records 4K, UHD, 2K, and FHD internally to CFast cards in both ProRes and XF-AVC formats, while simultaneously recording low-rez proxies to an SD card. Additionally, using the optional Codex CDX-36150 recorder, the C700 FF can record 4K, UHD, 2K, FHD in ProRes, and the full 5.9K sensor readout in Cinema RAW.
