From working in Camera Layout on PIXAR's animated feature "Cars," to music videos (People in Planes, Modest Mouse, etc.), to shooting numerous short films, feature films, television shows and commercials.
Suny's focus on technology and trends has led him to serve as a consultant to many Fortune 500 companies, including Panasonic, HBO, Canon and Google. Suny is passionate about combining artistic endeavors with the science that is digital imaging. This passion is exercised yearly with the HBO Camera Assessment Series, which he has been photographing for the last three years.
When he is not shooting or consulting, Suny spends his time teaching through various outlets. As an instructor for HD Expo/ Createasphere, he taught P2 Camps and Varicamps that outlined the many functions of the P2 Varicam. For Canon USA, he has taught a wide range of seminars on Canon's new line of digital cinema offerings. While training professionals is important, Suny also makes the time to teach up-and-coming filmmakers at UCLA's Graduate School of Theater, Film and Television.
