Mike Chan has been a part of Canon for eight years. At a very young age, he was given a Canon Canonet G-III QL17 Rangefinder as a toy to play with. Despite the lack of film in the camera, he used to wind it and listen to the click of the leaf-shutter. That was when his interest in cameras began. He started off his photography career shooting black & white film on a Canon AE-1 SLR, then processing and enlarging in the darkroom.
But today, Mike is a jack of all trades -- dabbling in everything from still life to action sports to portraits as well as digital video projects. He strives to stay ahead of the curve with digital photo and video trends and techniques, which he is always happy to educate and share with others.
He currently belongs to the Canon Digital Learning Center team as a Senior Technical Specialist providing Online Educational resources to professional and advanced amateur photographers.
